This chair is modeled after one from Connecticut that dates back to around 1770. With it's crest and carved ears, this chair makes a nice companion to any of the crested arm chairs or a beautiful complete set.

The Boston Fan Back has a shield seat and, unlike most of the seats of that style, a rather rounded and robust look to it.
